How do I say this without pissing off parents/getting yelled at? I worry about parents who claim to have 0 time for anything they like to do bc of their kids. I worry about the kids, too.
And I don& #39;t mean pandemic-specific claims. I understand that the pressures of the last year have been absurd. This predates pandemic stuff.
My mom was a single mother with 4 kids and a full time plus part time job... she still read books. Like my entire life, reading was a huge part of her life and leisure time. Thank goodness! For her sake and just for the sake of modeling behavior.
Also the people who are like "I don& #39;t have time to shower, I have KIDS". I worry about you. Seriously.
I realize the years of toddlerhood are different, btw. And I& #39;m not talking about not socializing. I& #39;m literally talking about things you do because you enjoy them - you know, hobbies.
