Since 2015, I have issued 3 reports & held 3 hearings to highlight our bipartisan findings about DHS and HHS failures to appropriately care for these children.
In March I sent a bipartisan letter to DHS & HHS highlighting recommendations for best practices generated by these oversight investigations. These are not being followed.
As the Ranking Member of #HSGAC, I’ll continue to work w my colleagues on both sides of the aisle to keep these vulnerable children safe.
