After the race was called for Biden, it rained in LA and there was a rainbow. Random coincidence! Our brains connected the two things bc our brains are just really good at connecting things. It is both a gift and a curse of being human.

But I& #39;m thinking about this because of how this tendency to connect things can sometimes collide with a sort of smug cynicism and drive people right into conspiracy theory land.
