HOW I DIVERSIFY MY TASTE AND FIND NEW MUSIC: a thread!
!!!!!!!!: i listen to a lot of different music in a lot of different genres and languages. mostly russian, japanese, english, korean, spanish, and chinese. but ive expanded recently to khmer, thai, polish, german, french, dutch, turkish, vietnamese, hebrew, portugese, and danish!
personally, i enjoy music in languages in some genres, but not others. for example, i dont like french pop, but i adore french rock and coldwave! so.. be open!

**** this is all off spotify, but i think apple music, youtube music, and just regular youtube have similar equivalents!
1. GO THROUGH OTHER PEOPLES PLAYLISTS
by far, this is the most effective method i have; look up a language or genre you want to explore, and go through the playlists. if a certain playlist is very appealing to you, go through that persons account!

2. LISTEN TO THE PLAYLISTS SPOTIFY MAKES FOR YOU
yes, your release radar, daily mixes, discover weekly. if your music taste isnt very diverse yet, itll be less effective and will just show you music similar to what you already listen to, but as you get going, theyre helpful!

3. GO THROUGH SPOTIFY& #39;S RECCOMENDED SONGS
similar to #2, this will just be songs related to what you already listen to, but again, as you get going, this is very very helpful!!!

4. "FANS ALSO LIKE"
when you find an artist you like, go through the "fans also like"!!!! it shows artists of similar genre and usually the same language. i will spend HOURS doing this ngl, its very helpful!!

5. RADIO
i dont use this method like.. ever but im running out of ideas LMAOOO. if you go to an artist radio, it will show you songs that sound similar!!!

this was short and honestly kinda self explanatory, but all of these methods are truly really effective!!! many ppl ignore these opportunities, but theyre so useful! i hope somebody finds this helpful
