@tuckercarlson and @jdvance1 hate the idea of a #truthcommission, but they oscillate wildly as to why: is it a totalitarian Orwellian device to define the boundaries of reality? Or just a whiney panel to complain for imaginary offenses?

A #truthcommission doesn& #39;t replace the "official truth" of a fallen regime with a new one.
There will always be liars, but it& #39;s tougher for them to say "I didn& #39;t know".
Example: Chile. The Right didn& #39;t disappear, but had to take distance from the undeniable Pinochet crimes./2
