Nothing wrong with making a dollar, but it& #39;s not a good look if the govt continues to fantasize about being a top10 arms exporter by being the world& #39;s 3rd largest importer - like the recent & #39;fossil fuel-led economic recovery will reduce #GHG emissions& #39; reasoning.

Bad optics aside, the danger from cut-price #military surplus thru auctions are attractive to unscrupulous parties, ie #PMCs or other armed groups. Defence dept sales are subject to #export controls & I& #39;m not sure if private sales are scrutinised the same way.
