Just remember that children are NOT born knowing what artistic plagiarism is???? Instead of cancelling a 12-14/yr old for tracing/copying a design just let them know and point them in the right direction holy shit. This is why young artists get so beat up.

I copied a couple designs when I was younger and when it was all dragged up I was absolutely obliterated and didn’t make adopts for months. I was even accused of copying designs I had never seen before. Only ONE person took the time to properly educate me on artistic plagiarism.
