hmmm. this whole thing is so ... hm. i remember being super conflicted about whether norman was right or not in this situation, but honestly i& #39;m not sure if i came to a conclusion. it really depends from person to person but i don& #39;t think he& #39;s That wrong
in the end all he wanted was to find a solution to save and help his family, even though maybe it wasn& #39;t the most correct way to do it, he had good intentions. aside from the fact that i& #39;m 99,9% sure lambda has messed with his head

i do see emma& #39;s point (and ray& #39;s), that demons also have families and stuff but... :/ i don& #39;t know, i feel like both them and norman are "valid" in a way. emma and ray are still considerate to the demons even though they& #39;ve k worded many of their friends and family, while norman+
doesn& #39;t because, in a way, he& #39;s been more hurt by the demons than them (the experiments at lambda and all that) and he doesn& #39;t want to forgive that easily, perhaps. he holds a grudge and i don& #39;t blame him for it, but i also don& #39;t name ray and emma for not wanting to do that to+
the demons because they& #39;ve met good demons!! musica and sonju.. they& #39;ve helped them a lot, gave them food and all that. norman didn& #39;t experience this. ray and emma didn& #39;t experience lambda. so the three of them make good points
in the end this isn& #39;t about who& #39;s right and who& #39;s wrong, anyway. they all want to help each other out and stuff like that :( sorry 4 the rant i just needed to say this LOLLL

lia and i talked about this earlier but there are so many parts where u can see “grace field norman” is still there cuz of how he acts. it& #39;s like an internal fight between the traumatized norman that hates the demons and wants them wiped out vs the empathetic and caring gf norman
yeah :(
he struggles to sympathize with the demons and being completely honest i don& #39;t blame him at all. though he has a very... simplified view of them. all he says is “we are food to them” and nothing else - that& #39;s the demons from his point of view, because he& #39;s never met the good+
ones like ray and emma did. he was never saved from danger by *demons* like ray and emma did. but just like he doesn& #39;t and can& #39;t seem to understand emma and ray& #39;s points, neither can them (especially emma) because they haven& #39;t gone through the same thing. ray is obviously still+
kinda traumatized by grace field and all that but that was two years ago and he& #39;s clearly gotten better thankfully!!!!!! but norman& #39;s is recent and he poured everything into that plan just for them to want to do something else. they have a hard time understanding each other& #39;s+
points of view tbh. can& #39;t really blame them for that though
WHY R THEY LIKE THIS
the facade he puts up ALMOST fell here. because of the “do you WANT to?” well part of him does because of much they& #39;ve hurt him, but the other half knows he doesn& #39;t want to. and his face when emma says “doing everything alone (...) like a god” he frowns because he KNOWS it& #39;s true
the “i.. i..” because he& #39;s hesitating. does he ask for help? does he admit that, no, he doesn& #39;t want to kill the demons? but hey, he& #39;s never been the person to talk about how he feels to anyone. all he ever does in these situations is bottle it up, and that& #39;s exactly what he does
there you go, brushing your feelings off and repressing them like it& #39;s nothing :(

:(( it actually makes me really sad that people.. can& #39;t sympathize with him. i don& #39;t understand HOW either. he& #39;s literally been through so much shit - ever since the start when he found out about the truth about grace field he& #39;s ALWAYS been sacrificing himself for his friends+
and carrying most of the fucking burden by accepting to get shipped out. if he hadn& #39;t done that, emma and ray most likely wouldn& #39;t even be alive right now. he& #39;s sacrificed so much just to make his family happy, he has the best intentions. but he& #39;s always fucked up the head!+
i know shirai didn& #39;t show us much of what happened in lambda but the experiments were SICK, literally. he was never able to catch a break after finding out about everything. when he said he& #39;d become god or a devil if necessary he wasn& #39;t being “narcissistic”, he meant he& #39;d do+
anything to keep his loved ones safe. of course he& #39;s not going to have as much empathy towards the demons like ray and emma do; he never met any good demon! all he thinks of the demons is that they& #39;re the enemy and what he has to do to be the hero is k!ll them, to protect+
