New "out of context" or gimmick accounts are getting blocked on sight, swear to god.

I won& #39;t pretend that I don& #39;t follow and gimmick accounts or that I& #39;m bigger than them somehow, but I& #39;m so tired of seeing specific topics that I don& #39;t want to see anymore be brought back on my TL.

I feel like this is gonna sound silly, but some of the content from those accounts (especially the ones centered around nostalgic cartoons) bring up really awkward memories of who I used to be. It& #39;s really uncomfortable to me.

This isn& #39;t to say that people who follow these or have memories from that type of content are bad, or even the content itself is bad. I& #39;m just tired of seeing certain media that I should& #39;ve forgotten about years ago come back into my adult life in bite-sized viral clips and memes

I& #39;m hoping people will understand where I& #39;m coming from with this, I sometimes don& #39;t know if I really phrase what I& #39;m saying correctly when I "speak seriously."
