I see a strange fascination with failure in these parts.

As someone who has failed bountifully, let me tell you that there isn& #39;t much in failure.

It& #39;s certainly nothing to be pursued or glorified.

Failure is at best, a sign post.
It might say "Try again," or "Over there."

What it doesn& #39;t do though, is pay.

Failure on its own is worthless.

Don& #39;t ascribe some imaginary value to failure - you actually get nothing back for it.
Failure is opaque - it doesn& #39;t come with any clear instruction.

So if you& #39;re not paying close attention, recording, and measuring,

then you will find that your failures don& #39;t even contain lessons.

Therefore, beware of your attitude toward failure.
Don& #39;t be afraid of it, but don& #39;t buy into the childish nonsense of celebrating failure.

Unless of course, you enjoy stalling on your journey.
