It gets a tad annoying to see & #39;hot takes& #39; in the vein of & #39;Streamers/Creators/etc with wishlists are greedy, its just stuff they want.& #39;

It is this kind of attitude that makes it so many of us are uncomfortable sharing/promoting our wishlists, Ko-Fi, Paypal, etc.

A) Almost all on my wishlist (& many other& #39;s), I would use to stream/perform. It is also a reminder list for me for stuff I need/want for same. People often aren& #39;t aware of all the things needed to perform/stream. That includes tech, but also makeup/hair, accessories, etc

B) Sure, a couple things are wants, not needs. So what? Do I *need* a Pusheen kigurumi? No. Am I allowed to have a want that isn& #39;t a need on there? Yes. I know I tend to not list stuff I feel is too expensive, so I keep those private, even if its for streaming.

C) As for shaming people for having Ko-Fi, tip jars, etc: Do you think that everyone who streams makes a billion dollars off it or is independently wealthy? For many people, this is a JOB. For some full time, some part-time.

Performing/Streaming *IS* work.

D) I don& #39;t really have anything else to say here I just like having a list with four entries. But while you are here: Support artists & creators. If it isn& #39;t financially, that is fine. Spread the word about their work.

Also: it& #39;s chaos. Be kind.
