The terrorism frame has been used to subjugate #ArabAmericans & #AmericanMuslims for decades, including secret detention facilities, watchlists, ethnic & religious profiling, warrantless surveillance, & CVE programs. We must end such misguided policies. (2/8)
Yes, white supremacy is bad & is dangerous. But we don& #39;t need to call it "domestic terrorism" to emphasize how bad it is. Hate crime laws & powers are well-equipped to address the issue to the extent that law enforcement can ever really address such things. (3/8)

Arab Americans & American Muslims shouldn& #39;t be subject to the unconstitutional gov. overreach & systemic bigotry stemming from the "war on terror," & such policies should never be used as a model--in rhetoric or policy--for addressing any other group or concern, either. (8/8)
