You are not a traitor to your community if you talk about it.

Multiply marginalised autistic people being able to talk about the bigtory and marginalization they have experienced in the autistic community is so important.

I don& #39;t care if it makes the community & #39;look bad& #39;, autistic lives take precedent over image. Always.

There& #39;s a lot of talk about how autistics are & #39;different& #39;, about how we are more free of the weird social constructions of neurotypical society.

If we shut down people talking about their marginalization for making the community & #39;look bad& #39;, how the fuck are we different?

If you see autistic people talking about racism, misogyny, queerphobia, transphobia etc. in our community, and your response is & #39;this conversation is about autism, you& #39;re distracting us& #39;, then you see autism as a concept rather than autistic people. How very neurotypical of you.
