For the general public, novelists and television doctors don’t tell you the whole story, nor the relevant story. They’re trying to sell both themselves and their content by exploiting and magnifying patients’ most vulnerable moments.

Some of these moments, understandably, have been narrated with the genuine intention of providing the general public with honest insights into both the delivert of healthcare and the inner experience of healthcare professionals. Be careful who you exalt as medical heroes.
