Don& #39;t get distracted. The whole problem with Amy Klobuchar& #39;s tenure as Minneapolis& #39; head prosecutor is that she never filed charges in police killing cases.

Instead she would leave them to grand juries. It& #39;s what the prosecutors in the Ahmaud Arbery case tried to do. https://twitter.com/travisakers/status/1266042282857369600">https://twitter.com/travisake...
So here, Derek Chauvin - the cop who murdered George Floyd - killed a man by the name of Wayne Reyes in October 2006. Amy Klobuchar could have had him arrested and charged then.

She didn& #39;t. She just left it to a grand jury and predictably they failed to indict.
Amy Klobuchar admits now that that was the wrong way to handle things. Here she is on @CuomoPrimeTime a few nights ago saying just that.

So please do not try to say she wasn& #39;t responsible for letting Derek Chauvin get away with that first killing. She was. https://twitter.com/CuomoPrimeTime/status/1265461481174437888?s=20">https://twitter.com/CuomoPrim...
These cases still have to go before grand juries, but a prosecutor who makes the decision to arrest and charge a police officer first is demonstrating that they are committed to prosecuting them.

Not doing that is shrugging your shoulders and saying, eh who cares.
