I don& #39;t understand this trend bashing "Friends". The show aired a couple of years after USSR& #39;s dissolution, & back when smoking in planes was a thing. You can& #39;t take it out of its era & judge it based on today& #39;s standards. It never aimed at being anth other than & #39;light& #39; & funny.

And no hating on it is not a personality trait. I& #39;m sure that none of the Friends "fans" think that the show is meaningful & deep. People love it because you can watch it mindlessly, & because everyone longs for a "simpler" life & a close-knit group of friends
