i think i& #39;ve cracked why sapphic romances are almost invariably boring to me & it& #39;s a combination of lack of intensity & a plot which does not deviate from their day-to-day lives

i mean, in good romances, meeting the love interest induces some change that the main character has to grapple with, often causing life to shoot off in some unexpected direction, right?

what i mean by day-to-day is that nothing changes, there just so happens to be someone else along for the ride & that to me is pretty fucking borign

can y& #39;all calm down, i read sapphic books all the time jfc, i& #39;m saying why specifically the adult romances that i& #39;ve read haven& #39;t worked for ME
