The Jefferson Graduate Student Association, Postdoctoral Association, BizBio, Media Relations, and Writing Center have all worked incredibly hard to put together all of the events for the new Science Communication Certificate this year https://twitter.com/researchatjeff/status/1253023858694795265">https://twitter.com/researcha...
We’ve tried to introduce students and post docs to new, fun ways to communicate their research and enhance their #SciComm skills. @alldayscientess taught us how to make science come alive with animation https://nexus.jefferson.edu/science-and-technology/making-science-stories-come-to-life/">https://nexus.jefferson.edu/science-a...
@AuLebrun led a career panel on opportunities in science writing and communication. @EdytaZi and @KarunaMeda have taught us how to write science articles for a general audience and how to set up your own podcast to interview scientists and talk about research.
. @drosophilosophy showed us how to use Twitter to communicate our science and network with other researchers. His talk led to several awesome #JeffTakeover events on @ResearchAtJeff (including @MoLOTSofScience TODAY!)
Also shout out to @KozlowskiLisa and @JennySc12 for making all of these events possible with your work through the GSA and JPA.
