I grew up in the suburbs. Middle class. If my folks struggled financially I had no clue.
So a very nice neighborhood. 40+ years later I would still move there in a jiffy. Lots of changes but still a good place.

Everyone has their own experience. My experience with war was very tame. I& #39;m very lucky. Lucky enough to feel the guilt that gets left behind sometimes.
Maybe it& #39;s because I& #39;m a literal person sometimes. I know the difference between a simile and a metaphor. Did I spell simile correctly? Doesn& #39;t matter.
Anyways. A football game? Not a war. Not a war in the trenches. Not the proper metaphor.

War on drugs? Maybe not a metaphor. Treat it like a war and people die. Meh. Still a metaphor I guess.
