Yesterday, we learnt that of 365 deaths, 247 (68%) died in hospital.

On April 10th, we learnt that out of 288 deaths, 156 "had been" living in nursing homes. That& #39;s an important distinction. It doesn& #39;t say that they died "in" the nursing home.

Normally a sentence explicitly stating that deaths are in hospital settings would be enough. But alas, no, not in a pandemic.
People like to make up their own hysterical interpretation of events.
Anyway, back to numbers.

Also yesterday, we learnt that 152 of the 365 deaths (42%) took place "in" nursing homes.
So the death took place inside the nursing home.

So we have:
- 54% of deaths "had been" in nursing homes
- 42% died inside nursing homes
But 42% =/= 54%, so not every nursing home resident died in their nursing home.

Assuming a resident will only die in the nursing home, or in hospital, that means 13% of deaths (~51 people) have been "moved to hospital".

That& #39;s 51 people who were given a fighting chance by being moved to a hospital.
51 is only those who died. Those who were moved out and are still alive will be many dozens more!
