My take is that Fauci used to be a doctor. Now? He& #39;s suffered the fate of many in his field, he gave up the lab for an administrator position -- which isn& #39;t a bad thing pe se, you want doctors in charge of medicine. But this position puts him at the mercy of POLITICIANS.

If he wants to stay in that position -- for whatever reason, good or bad -- then he must play the political game too. He has to stand there, while Trump says patently false things, and then find a way to make it sound like he agrees while saying something entirely different.
