Good Friday always makes me sad. It also is the central reason I& #39;m religious.

Whether or not you believe in Jesus as deity, this man was betrayed by his friends, beaten to a pulp, & left for dead over a known criminal. Yet in his final breath he asked for their forgiveness.

I can only imagine what I would be thinking under similar circumstances. His forgiveness and love somehow transcended all of that hate, something I am perfectly sure I wouldn& #39;t be able to do. But I try to be more like Him every day and we could all benefit from that example.

So, have a solemn Good Friday, everyone; and hug your loved ones during this time together. Much love.
