Cafe at National Greek Opera. The chef is French but he understands σπανακόπιτα .
My ode to Greek coffee:

You
make me love
my tongue to savor
You, a throat to swallow
You, & lips to lick off your warmth.

That is all.

Now, this is Italian food, but the chef is Greek.
I look most glowy when I’m eating or about to eat.

Back to coffee. Homemade is best.

Fresh from the corner bakery is so good in the morning.

I think this was a Syrian restaurant. I devoured it.

Now, you might be thinking... but what about the baklava? Gyro? Salads?

I’ve worked every single day this trip (interviews, recordings, rehearsals), & it’s been storming & thundering pouring in Athens, & of course London was London.
Today I walked around in a sundress bc sunlight makes me feel better. Now back to food.

Next day was tea with Armand with some nice chocolate cake, then we were all starving and went to dinner in a fabulous Lebanese place.

Then there was a really good vegan burger I tried with Andy. And some tasty dessert someplace.
