BREAKING: Voters polled in 90% White state lean White. https://twitter.com/Redistrict/status/1195874436857118723">https://twitter.com/Redistric...
People need to wrap their minds around the reality that it’s possible to win in IA, NH and other 90+% White states but still lose the primary due to failure to garner enough support from voters in more diverse regions, particularly the South. This is a marathon, NOT a sprint. https://twitter.com/docrocktex26/status/1193305246468116481">https://twitter.com/docrockte...
The impressive wins in KY, LA, VA and AL have all occurred on a firm foundation of the Black vote with a boost from reliable White allies, it’s ahistorical to presume that isn’t the same combination necessary to win the Democratic primary for POTUS. https://www.nbcnews.com/think/opinion/what-kentucky-governor-s-race-results-say-about-progress-according-ncna1077396">https://www.nbcnews.com/think/opi...

The winning formula is still rooted in crafting a message that not only garners crossover appeal from R/I voters, but does so while remaining intersectional and true to the values of social justice & equality that have appealed to the multicultural Democratic base for 55 years.
As the primary makes its way across the country, the expectations for the candidates will change based on the aspirations & sensibilities of the electorate in each state. Be wary of analysis that extrapolates under-representative data to D populations that simply aren’t the same. https://twitter.com/docrocktex26/status/1193295361311432706">https://twitter.com/docrockte...
